Robert is our partner in Australia. He is now 76 years old and still peddling hard to help machine owners retrofit their old machines. Unfortunately, he lost his dog Sasha recently. He wrote: “It’s been a sad occasion, but I am blessed with the memories of “Sasha” and the 4865 days we shared, she is at peace and will be in my heart forever" and quote the following poem written by whom I do know.
Having stayed with Robert, Trudy and gentle Sasha in a peaceful town called Howard for a few days, I can still feel the joy and warmth Sasha brought to Robert and Trudy, and understand the depth of the grief, the irreplaceable void in our hearts as I had experienced a similar loss in my own life when I was a kid. The memories of our furry friends remain etched in our hearts forever, reminding us of the love and companionship they brought into our lives.
A Pet's Prayer
If It should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then, you must do what must be done,
For this, the last battle, can't be won.
You will be sad, I understand.
