Return Policy

If you wish you may return the product(s) within 30 days after the purchase date. The first step to take to return an item for refund or exchange is to call us at 1-519-880-8181 or to contact us by email to sales@sheartak.com. We will assist you and will also provide you with a return authorization code along with instructions on how to return a non-defective item. The authorization code should be clearly visible on the package.

 

All returned products must be shipped using a pre-authorized return form. Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization from us.

 

All non-defective returns must be in original packaging, unused and in resalable condition. You can choose any courier you prefer, and you are responsible for the return shipping charges. Upon our receipts of the returned items, we will inspect with 5 business days and properly re-pack before offering to other customers. We will then refund your purchase price with deduction of 20% of the invoice amount as to cover the original shipping and handling charges, reinspection, restocking fee etc. that will be caused by processing your return and refund.

 

If the returned item requires repairs, the inspection and relabeling process may take longer, and your refund will likely be delayed. The costs required to repair the item(s) will be deducted from your refund.

 

In the event that the returned item is lost or damaged during transit, we regret to inform you that we won't be able to process a refund. For returned packages, you have the option to purchase additional shipping insurance through your chosen carrier. This will offer an extra layer of protection for your return, which is particularly crucial considering the high value of the package. Should any damage or loss occur, your selected shipping carrier will provide reimbursement based on your insured value.

 

For international returned packages, we kindly ask that you take a moment to fill out the customs form with utmost accuracy to the related shipping carrier. Please indicate that this item is being returned for repair to ensure that no incorrect import duty fee is collected from the recipient. While it's highly unlikely, in the event that charges are applied upon receipt of the returned package due to inaccuracies on the customs form for international shipments, please understand that any incurred fees will be deducted from the refund amount. As an alternative, you may opt to select "bill duty fee to the sender" to preempt any potential issues. Should the shipping carrier mistakenly charge an incorrect duty fee, you can engage in direct negotiations with them. Your careful attention to this matter is sincerely appreciated. 

 

The refund will be made to the same credit card, PayPal account as you do when you place your order. When credit card is used, the refund processing time may vary based on the refund policies of your credit card company.

 

We will arrange shipping back any defective items or incorrect order fulfillment so that the return shipping will not cause additional expenses to you. Returned item(s) will be thoroughly inspected. If the defective is approved, we will either ship you a new item free of charge or fully refund you. If the defects are caused by improper handling or installation, buyers will have to pay for the repair or replacement as well as for the return shipping charges that we will have to pay to the carrier and customs duty to return the item.

 

Excluded from this policy are products made to custom sizes. We will verify each size of the product and obtain your approval prior to putting it into production. Unless it is defective, it cannot be returned.
