The carbide insert knives (usually referred to as ICK) are made to the US Grade C3 or ISO K10 with a bending strength of 2350PSI. They are precision ground to a very tight tolerance for perfect interchangeability, quality cut, and longer tool life span. This insert is the perfect replacement for the HSS blades on the original cutterhead. Carbide edges stay sharp 10 times longer than HSS ones.
