Spiral Cutterhead for KNOVA Cepilladora para madera 15'' x 6'' gabinete abierto|KN CM-15HO comes with a total 80 carbide inserts on 5 spirals. 5 extra carbide inserts and 5 screws are provided as spare parts. 

Two Japan-made NSK premium sealed bearings are provided. The bearing on the pulley side is pre-installed onto the shaft. The bearing at the idol end is included and has to be mounted during placing this end into the gearbox. 

A new TC-type oil seal for the gearbox is also included. This oil seal is to avoid oil leakage from the gearbox.

Each carbide insert bears the same kickback force and shares the same amount of material removal. To cut the same material at the same cutting parameters, the life span of carbide inserts on more-insert cutterhead is longer than on fewer-insert cutterheads. We install 80 carbide inserts on this 15" planer. The same cutterheads from other suppliers install only 75 inserts on 5 spirals or even 68 inserts on 4 spirals.
